My name is Pure, you may or not remember me, I've been around odyssey for about 7+ years now, and somebody just showed me this(I used to be a registry nub)

I think it's pretty neat that you're rewriting odyssey, many have tried and failed. Good luck.

So anyways, I was just saying hello and letting you know there are some other odyssey games out there such as http://www.eventidesun.com, by DarkOne, myself and a few others, odyssey classic is still there and also http://www.seyerdin.com is a project started by Smithy(before he passed).

Wasn't sure if you were aware of those or not. I'll check back here sooner or later, cya

They may have failed, but I've already started building an entire 2D framework that should be easily extended to Odyssey . But anyway, welcome, progress is very slow, but it is moving along.

I actually was aware of Seyerdin, though wasn't aware that it was started by Smithy. In fact, I used to host a server called Seyerdin for a few people (honestly can't remember who now. I still have it and could open it to check, but meh) so I am a little surprised that it was originally started by Smithy. Eventidesun.com I was not aware of and seeing that it appears that I would have to register to see anything, (board is blank otherwise), I don't know anything about it.

Seeing as I've been getting a few messages through both this board and e-mail, I guess I should probably go ahead and fix the more obvious problems so that the registry is at least playable again (at least until the new registry is working properly, still having issues with servers not properly being dropped from the list if offline).
